Can I pick up the car at Heraklion or Chania airport?
Yes. We meet you at arrivals at Heraklion (HER) and Chania (CHQ) airports. We also deliver to ports, towns and hotels across Crete. Choose your pick-up point in the search form.
Is mileage unlimited?
Yes. Every Goldy rental includes unlimited kilometres, so you can explore the whole island.
What insurance do I get?
That depends on the cover you choose. Full cover includes glass, and Premium includes glass and tyres. Each car shows the excess and deposit of every cover before you book. Damage to the inside of the car and off-road driving are never covered.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes, free of charge up to 48 hours before pick-up, and we refund your prepayment in full. Later than that, the prepayment is not refunded. Just contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
Can I pay in cash?
Yes. You prepay a small part online by card when you book, and you can pay the rest at the rental desk in cash or by card.
Do I need a credit card?
No. No credit card is needed on any cover: you pay by debit card. Choose Full or Premium cover and the deposit is €0 too.
What is the minimum driver age?
Age limits depend on the car category. Enter the driver's age in the search and we only show cars you can rent.
Can I return the car at a different location?
Yes. Tick “Return to a different location” in the search. The price you see already reflects your return point.
Do you offer child seats and an additional driver?
Yes. Infant, baby and child seats and an additional driver can be added as extras when you book. Prices are shown for your dates.
What happens if the car breaks down?
Call us any time. We offer 24/7 road assistance and replace the car if it can't be fixed quickly.
Who handles my online booking?
Our live availability and online bookings run on Karpadu, a Greek car rental platform. Your rental agreement is always with Goldy Rent a Car.
